Cybersecurity for healthcare

Healthcare institutions run on systems that must always be available, with sensitive patient data and medical devices that cannot simply be changed.

Priorities

Continuity of care, a wide variety of (medical) devices and secure access to patient data. Dutch healthcare institutions work with the NEN 7510 standard and largely fall under NIS2.

A careful rollout

  1. 01

    Map dependencies

Which clinical processes depend on which systems and devices?

  2. 02

    Test compatibility

A pilot on representative devices, including your critical applications.

  3. 03

    Phased rollout

Per group, in consultation with the service owners.

What Xcitium solves

Ransomware stands no chance

Containment prevents unknown code from encrypting systems.

Automated recovery

According to Xcitium, automatic rollback after an attack.

Visibility of devices

IoT and devices without an agent in view as well.

Fast response

The SOC acts without care processes coming to a halt.

Frequently asked questions

Can agents be installed on medical devices?

Often not, because of certification. Those devices are protected through network segmentation and monitoring instead of an agent.

Can isolating a system disrupt care?

That is why we agree in advance which systems are critical and which measures may and may not be taken automatically there.

Healthcare in your environment?

In a short demo we show you how it works, discuss your situation and make a proposal. No obligation, in English or Dutch.
